How AI Eesti came to be
In 2024, co-founders Ralf-Stiven Viru (CEO) and Markus Maila (CTO) saw a clear gap: most Estonian businesses knew they should be doing something with AI, but nobody could say what, where to start, or whether it was even worth it.
Estonian businesses lacked a practical, locally experienced partner who understands both artificial intelligence and the local business culture. To fill that gap, they founded AI Eesti — an AI consultancy based in Tallinn, Estonia.
Today AI Eesti has worked with 50+ organizations including TalTech, Uus Maa, Arens, KMG Infra, EADSE, Grafton, and CompuCash. Our trainings have been held across Estonia for both private companies and public sector organizations, and we are expanding our services to Scandinavia.
Our approach follows three clear steps: Map (audit processes and identify AI opportunities), Build (develop custom chatbots, AI agents, and automations), and Deploy (train teams and measure results). Every project starts from real business needs, not technology.
