1. Who are we?

The website aieesti.ee is managed by AI Eesti OÜ. For questions, you can write to the email address: info@aieesti.ee.

2. What data do we collect?

We collect data to provide a better user experience:

  • email addresses: when subscribing to the newsletter (via Kit.com service).
  • website visit data: we use PostHog analytics to understand how the website is used. Analytics are only activated with your consent.

3. How do we use the data?

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • sending newsletters and AI-related announcements.
  • improving and analyzing website usability.

4. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • inquire what data we collect about you.
  • request deletion of your data.
  • unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time (an unsubscribe link is at the bottom of every email).

5. Cookies and localStorage

Our website does not set any cookies without your consent. If you accept analytics cookies, PostHog is activated, which stores data in your browser's localStorage (not as cookies). YouTube videos are embedded in privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which does not set tracking cookies. Browser localStorage is used to remember your cookie consent preference.

6. Third parties

We use the following third-party services:

  • PostHog (hosted in the EU). Website analytics. Only activated with your consent.
  • Kit.com (formerly ConvertKit). Newsletter management. Processes your email address when you subscribe to the newsletter.
  • YouTube (privacy mode). Video embedding. We use the youtube-nocookie.com domain to reduce tracking.

7. Data retention

We retain your email address as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. If you unsubscribe, we will delete your data.

8. Changes to the privacy policy

The privacy policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of changes through the website. We recommend reviewing the policy regularly.

10. Google user data processing

If you use our service that connects to Google services (e.g. via Google Drive or Google Slides), we only access files that you have created or shared with our application.

  • We do not collect, process, or transmit Google user data to third parties.
  • We do not use Google data for training machine learning or artificial intelligence models.
  • We use Google APIs only to modify files selected or created by you (e.g. copying and modifying slides).
  • Our application fully complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy (Limited Use Policy).

All data is processed securely, with limited access, and only for the purposes stated above.
